District Document of Monuments

All credit and appreciation go to the District Nazim Mr. Ghulam Rasool Aqib khan Jatoi and the DCO Naushahro Feroze Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Shah who have shown their heartfelt interest and inclination to preserve all the architectural monuments in their district through Pakistan Heritage preservation and promotion society (PHPPS) surveyed and researched by Mr. Momin Bullo a learned researcher, journalist and Chief editor of a monthly magazine ’’Reporter’’ regularly published from Hyderabad. Mr. Momin Bullo is very efficient and capable journalist of both Sindhi and English languages .He holds the post of the Managing Director of the Pakistan Heritage Society and also he has authored a voluminous book in Sindhi language on the Governors of Sindh province from ’’Charles Napier to Mohammad Mian Soomro’’. Mr. Bullo has many valuable ideas and visions to publish documents, on every aspect of politics, economics, socio-development and cultural traditions of Sindh through the ages. In my opinion, it will be great service for human beings living in every district of Sindh if such documents are prepared and compiled on very urgent basis through PHPPS so that historical documents covering all aspects of Sindh province can be preserved and safeguarded for the memory of our posterity assisting them to be more vigilant and careful, knowledgeable an informative, learned and educated in all fields and aspects of our Sindh province. Therefore, respected Nazims and DCOs of all districts of Sindh are requested to follow the example of splendid idea of Nazim and DCO Naushahro Feroze and start their efforts to get these documents in very shortest possible time at their end. The necessary funds required for publication of these documents should be met from the district budgets. The following aspects and fields may be covered.

  • All political social and scholarly personalities of the district.

  • All architectural monuments.

  • All economic aspects of the district.

  • Agricultural and industrial development.

  • Cultural and social information.

  • Educational and literacy program.

  • Commercial and business activities.

  • Banking and insurance.

  • NGOS and associations.

  • Welfare and social work organizations etc.
